Certified Business Intelligence Professional* (CBIP*)
The CBIP is the industry's most in demand credential for Data Professionals, along with the CDP-Certified Data Professional in Data Management. Significant promotions and salary increments have been granted to these credential holders. (BI) is an umbrella term that includes the applications, infrastructure and tools, and best practices that enable access to and analysis of information to improve and optimize decisions and performance. BI represents the tools and systems that play a key role in the strategic planning process within a corporation. These BI systems allow a company to gather, store, access and analyze corporate data to aid in decision-making. Levels of Credential Available
Mastery Requires three exams be taken (90 minute exam on Data Foundations and either Information Systems Core or 90 minute Business Core. The third exam is by track 1. Leadership & Management (Management Exam); 2. Business Analytics (Business Analytics Exam); 3. Data Analysis and Design (Data Management Exam); or 4. Data Integration (Data Integration Exam) and passed at 70% or higher. Plus adherence to the ICCP Code of Ethics. Associate/Practitioner Requires three exams be taken (90 minute exam on Technology Core or 90 minute Business Core and the Data Foundations Exam. The third exam is by track - 1. Leadership & Management (Management Exam); 2. Business Analytics (Business Analytics Exam); 3. Data Analysis and Design (Data Management Exam); or 4. Data Integration (Data Integration Exam) and passed at 50% or higher. Plus adherence to the ICCP Code of Ethics. |
