Note: It is allowable to take ICCP certifications without any academic qualification, however there is an experience requirement in most cases to even pass the examinations because there are many work-related scenario-based questions.
Work Experience Requirement: All of the ICCP Credentials require relevant work experience (your CV can attest your experience on applying to receive the certificate). For Associate level it is 2 years or more; for Practitioner and Mastery it is 4 years or more. You can substitute up to 2 years with an Associate or any other Academic Degree for the associate level and up to 2 years for the Practitioner and Mastery Levels which require 4 years or more work experience. In the case of Data Governance, work experience is specified at 1400 hours (Practitioner/Mastery) and 900 hours (Associate).

2. Apply for membership

3. Prepare for your exams

Online, Grouped - tutor led (12 weeks); Self Study (12 modules - found here); or ExamCram (1 day - web conference - sign up here) b. in-person - conferences/workshops or c. onsite at your company location are available to help prepare extensively or brush up (short exam cram) on the exam materials. 4. Pay for your Exam(s); Sign-up to take your exams

If you attend a conference or webinar - pay at the conference or online as instructed by the webinar or conference. e.g. a conference preparation and examination session To take ICCP exams on-line, candidates must have a government issued photo-ID, a computer with high-speed internet, a webcam, and audio capabilities. |
5. Maintain skills & knowledge
