ICCP
and Learning Tree International
The ICCP and Learning
Tree International have established a strategic alliance which
allows Learning Tree courses to be used to satisfy certain ICCP certification
and re-certification requirements.
- The ICCP
has done an in-depth review of Learning Tree's C and C++ courses,
and their C and C++ Professional Certification Program. As a result
of this review, successful completion of Course 338, C Programming
Workshop, or Course 337, C++ Object-Oriented Programming
may be substituted for the corresponding C and C++ ICCP specialty
exams. Please refer to the General Information
section for information about specialty exam requirements for
ICCP certification.
- All Learning Tree
courses have been approved by the ICCP as applicable to the continuing
Professional Development (renewal) requirement. A four-day Learning
Tree course qualifies for 24 contact hours of credit (four days
of six hours each). Any Learning Tree Professional Certification
Program (typically five four-day courses) will satisfy the entire
120-hour Professional Development requirement. Please refer to
the Certification Renewal Requirements
section for information about Professional Development requirements
for ICCP certification.
Information is available
here on the procedure for receiving credit
for these courses from the ICCP.
The ICCP and Learning
Tree are continuing to review other Learning Tree courses and Professional
Certification programs, and we anticipate additional programs will
be identified that will qualify for specialty exam credit towards
the CCP designation. We will make announcements here as additional
program reviews are completed.
