Applications

Upon acceptance of a candidate’s application, the candidate will have 90 days to sit for the examination. A confirmation letter will be sent to the applicant with information on scheduling the examination.

Candidates may sit for examinations as often as desired, although a thirty day wait is required to retake the same examination; in addition to payment of examination fee.

Exam Fees

Exam Proctoring/Invigilation Fees

ICCP pays a fee to the proctor to supervise the exams at all of its locations around the world. Other proctoring locations (universities and colleges) may charge exam takers separate fees for the cancellation and/or rescheduling of exams.

Exam takers are responsible for all expenses incurred for this service, unless previously arranged through the ICCP office.

Certificate Conversion and Fees

After obtaining a CCP, CBIP or CDMP, you are eligible to use your exams to convert to another ICCP certification program.

Exams must satisfy other the certification requirements

• For conversion to CCP, all exams must have been passed at 70% or better.
• Taking the IS Core, Data Management Core and Data Warehousing exams will qualify you for both the CDMP and CBIP. Both programs have similar Practitioner and Master levels. All exams must be passed between 50 – 69% for the Practitioner level and at 70% or better for the Mastery level.

Work experience must qualify for the other certification requirements

• For the CCP, you need 4 years of IT work experience.
• For the CDMP and CBIP, you need 4 years of IT work experience for Mastery level and 2 years of IT experience for Practitioner level
• Up to 24 months of the experience requirement can be substituted with the appropriate undergraduate or graduate degree
